DuoLingo Class Challenges

Students are being tasked with 15 minutes a week of DuoLingo homework.  The homework will be graded weekly beginning in September.  The grading policy for DuoLingo can be found in Google Classroom.  To ensure that everyone is participating, we are initiating a contest between classes.  The competition will chart student participation per class and also number of minutes achieved per class.  More details on the contest are available in Google Classroom.  The small prize is a treat that will go to the class winner for each grade - for example 6A or 6B will win the small prize based on participation and number of minutes.  The big prize is a party in December and another in May.  To win the party, the class has to have 100% participation and then highest number of minutes.  The class is disqualified if there is not 100% participation.  I look forward to charting their progress!
