Summer is a great time to practice some of what you have learned this year in Spanish class! Language learning can be a “use it or lose it” situation, so try your best to use what you’ve learned and maybe even learn some more this summer. TALK TO PEOPLE!
Practice the Spanish you’ve learned with Spanish speakers in your family, neighborhood or community. Use Spanish when you travel. The more you use it, the better you’ll remember it!
USE LANGUAGE LEARNING APPS
With an app, you can practice Spanish as a daily habit on your phone or other device. Though these aren’t complete language learning systems, they can reinforce and build on what you know. Here are a few popular apps:
*If your student just graduated and is headed to High School, they can still participate by creating their own personal accounts and inviting their friends to join them. It’s a fun way to keep in touch with friends over the summer, while competing and learning Spanish!
READ IN SPANISH
