This spring, elementary students embraced the outdoors for a Scavenger Hunt, putting their QTalk skills to the test. Working in teams, they scoured the field for concealed cards. Upon discovery, their task was to decipher the QTalk symbols learned in class and write the sentences in Spanish.
All students enjoyed the adventure of finding and translating symbols to Spanish words. Some students had a little harder time with the activity than others. I've made note of what worked and what didn't so that next time, I can make adjustments to the process so that everyone feels successful.
